Edward Scissorhands - ice sculpting 2

A while ago a loyal fan and client of mine asked me to make his doll, modelled after Johnny Depp, a pair of scissorhands. I had no idea what I was getting myself into.

I mimicked some famous scenes from the movie as much as I could. Minor spoiler warning!

Scene: Edward decided to retreat back to his old mansion, shielded from the outside world, but has found a new hobby there: ice sculpting. His sculpting in front of the broken window is what causes it to snow down in the village every winter.

I made: The scissorhands, Edward's leathery outfit, the decors, ice sculpture, the pictures, the editing and digital painting (his face is extensively Photoshopped, as the doll currently sports a "Jack Sparrow" face-up: I had to delete the heavy eyebrows, beard and moustache and add paleness and scars).
I didn't make: The doll, the wigs, Edward's eyes, the white blouse.

That ice sculpture is actually an all-ice version of my snow fox doll Neva (plus some random blocks of ice). I filled some of her moulds with water, put them in the freezer, and then later froze the parts together. I was terrified her ears would melt off mid-shoot, but they held!
